DON'T YOU JUST HATE...
1. Falling in line in one of the ATM's to get cash but the guy in front of you is taking his sweet time, withdrawing from 10 different cards.
2. People talking inside the movie house, discussing every scene, detail by detail every frame.
3. Taking a short cut due to the heavy traffic only to find out that the route you've taken is a lot clogged.
4. Going to work on a Sunday and all your mates are gathering for a weekend get together.
5. Recieving an SMS coming from an unknown number offering credit card and loan.
6. Being trapped in an elevator with a guy who smells like a wet dog.
7. Seeing a no smoking sign on your cigarette break.
8. When the ATM machine goes offline when it is already your turn to get money.
9. Talkative cabbie who keeps on yapping when you're not exactly feeling sociable.
10. Politicians dancing in their campaign ads and meetings just to win your vote.
DON'T YOU JUST LOVE...
1. Having the last slice of pizza
2. Discovering a couple of bills in one of your unwashed jeans.
3. Recieving a birthday card from Uncle or Auntie with a couple of bills inserted as a gift.
4. Waking up late for school then suddenly remembering that it is Sunday.
5. Getting compliments such as you look younger than you really are.
6. Recieving free product demo or sampler being given at the grocery by an upstart product.
7. Falling in line to pay your utility and other bills and you're the last in line then a new counter opens and calls you to transfer to his/her lane.
8. Cancelled Mid-term exams because your ferocious Algebra teacher called in sick.
9. Ending up in a mosh pit from the bleacher section of a rock concert due to the crowds' pushing, shoving and pogoing.
10. Riding the escalator and accidentally seeing the thong of a hot lady in front of you wearing a short, short skirt.

Ending a good day
After arriving at the CCP docks from Corregidor around 4pm, we decided to go to SM Mall of Asia since we haven't checked it since it opened last year, it is one HUGE mall, it aint gonna be called "Mall of Asia" for nothing, and if your sense of direction sucks, you'll probably get lost somewhat. Lots of good shops abound and entertainment you'll not often see at the usual malls in the Metro, had our dinner at the Tokyo Cafe, a westernized Japanese Resto, fast and friendly service, and of course, good food. Oh well! what a way to end a good day, eat to your heart's delight! My ass will definitely jiggle for a week or two. (burp!) Excuse me.

The Island Of Corregidor
Just had a trip to Corregidor Island, one of the last fortress of the Fil-American forces that surrendered to the Japs during the war of the Pacific WWII. Of course General McArthur returned to liberate the Island from the Japanese, Lots of fantastic views, sceneries and historical artifacts are treasured here. We boarded the tranvia as we toured the island, explored the Malinta tunnel, where President Manuel L. Quezon and VP Sergio Osmena took oath for their 2nd term during the war, we also checked the heavily bombarded barracks and batteries, (the humongous guns that can blow a ship to pieces) that defended the island from the enemies. It's is an exciting adventure for us and if ever i'll have another chance to visit, i'll definitely do it again.

Wandering on a Sunday.
It's been a week since i went out of St. Lukes' and i think i started to regain most of my mobility, i checked my mail and stuff after having a hefty lunch. I saw my mobile phone bills at the couch, yep, they're almost due so i paid the Globe line thru phone banking, "Sheesh! I have to go out to pay the Sun cellular at the mall", since it is not enrolled in the phone banking. So i hurriedly went to Centerpoint to pay the bill. After settling it, i took time to browse at the latest tech stuff and gadgets, Hmnn! if im going to window shop for gadget stuff, i have to be at the cyber zone, so i flagged down a cabbie and headed to the north. We're about maybe 2 or 3 blocks away, the cab's engine stopped and wont start, the cabbie asked if i could give it a push so he could jumpstart the stupid car, " here's my fare, i'll walk from here", leaving the stupefied cabbie in the middle of the traffic, i would have done that but i still got a fresh stitch and i dont want my innards to scatter, and i took the cab instead of the usual PUJ's because i don't want to be strained. I arrived at the mall after my cardiovascular smog filled walk, grab a mango smoothies to sip while panting, i've noticed an exibit, it is some sort of a digital photography i guess. Oh well! I took out my nifty moto to shoot some images, then i went to the cyberzone to drool on the latest gadgets, got to check some digicamcorder for Corregidor.

THINGS TO DO IF BOREDOM HOUNDS YOU
I woke up late, as usual, but to my surprise, no one's home but me. They all went to work of course and i have to endure this day, by myself, alone. I survived the boredom on it's 1st and 2nd day,i need to survive again. After eating my late lunch along with the too late breakfast i started to drag my healing carcass to the computer to check mails and stuff, Tsk! none. So what am i going to do? I decided to come up with my top ten "To do if you're totally bored". here goes...
1. Try to fill the toilet bowl with water.
2. Grab a cup full of rice grains, then try to count how many grains a cup contains.
3. Grab a water filled sprayer bottle, go to the 2nd floor if you have, then squirt some water to unsuspecting passerby to annoy them, make sure they don't see you or else, you'll get your ass kicked.
4. Grab a pen and paper, then try writing whatever you like using your left hand if your right handed, and your right hand of course if you're a lefty.
5. Arrange your cd collection alphabetically, or chronologically, or according to date of purchase, or according to sentimentality, or......
6. Open the TV set, mute the unit, grab a guitar even if you don't know how to play it, switch to a telenovela and do the musical scoring.
7. Grab your digicam and take some mug shot of yourself, make it nasty and intimidating then upload it to your friendster account.
8. Try reading a book....Backwards!
9. Go to the garden, using the squirt bottle, shoot the sleeping cat, the file of ants or annoy the chained rottweiler at your neighbors' backyard.
10. Go get a pistol or a hand grenade, or a space gun and take some hostages and demand for world peace! ask for a hotdog sandwhich and a coke...make that a pair, for you and your caucasian buddy who suggested this stunt.
PEACE!

MY FALLEN LADY
Veins in my hand shows
As i hold the blood filled glass
up my dried, parched lips.
Life flows inside me
consuming a mortal's blood,
satisfies my thirst.
The candle lights burn
and the shadows starts dancing
as she breathes for life.
Her bare, pale white chest
are heaving, gasping for air
as i weave her hair.
Clutching her body
i have slit my wrist open,
letting my blood drip.
On her mouth, she sips
Immortality given,
mortal body dies.
after reading a vampire book...hallow be thy name.(image from ravenloft)

ASLEEP
I lie motionless
Staring at the lights above
as my bed passes
It is like a ride
making my head feel heavy
and my innards throb
We entered the room
and i saw three masked faces,
Fear started to loom
My left hand is held
and i felt an assuring touch
telling me all's well
Chill runs through my veins
along with the shot, sending
me to drowse, No pain.
Bright light's above me
are the last thing i have seen,
slowly fades from me.

Boredom, on its first day
It's been a day after i escaped my medical prison at St. Lukes', where i stayed mostly drugged and intoxicated for two friggin days. I woke up feeling bored, with an upset stomach and a throbbing wound. I remembered i've down a couple of vanilla ice cream cups before hitting the sack so i have to haul up my ass and rush to the comfort room and let the monster out. I went back to my room to check my mobile phones for any message coming from a wellwisher or two but sad to say there is none. I grab Jessica Zafra's latest twisted flick to read but did not last long, im still tipsy. "Hey, what about breakfast?" my wifey said, "Nah, maybe later, still got a rumbling stomach" i replied. So i decided to surf the net, crawled like an old roach to the computer table and started to check my mail, friendster updates, comments or rantings for my blog. Tsk! aside from the last post i made, there is none. " Oh god! this is going to be a long day" i muttered, what else can i do? aside from bedrest and getting drugged with high powered, machine gun like medicines doctor steve prescibed me. No new dvd's and i already kicked Darius's ass ( The antagonist in need for speed carbon) alot of times already, I decided to grab my pocket pc and open the image viewer and check the Enchanted Kingdom photos of my kidde mates. It made me smile. Ok, i'll try to write. A poem? i'm in a rut to do that so i decided to write about this 1st boring day after i went out of the hospital. It doesn't seem to make sense but it is consuming me, so boredom somehow gave me a break. I'll watch the tele later while boredom is having a break, just like the giraffe.

Atop the Wheel of Fate Photos
Enchanted Kingdom, Sta.Rosa Laguna
Had fun with my kidz at the Enchanted Kingdom, Here's a shot of the front gate, "the space shuttle", a roller coaster like ride with loops, enough to make my balls go up my neck, and some of my shots were taken from the Wheel of Fate, bacause of the aerial sceneries of course. Jellica, Lala, Marian and I had lots of fun trying out rides and goofing around with the mascots and characters of EK, a nice break from our everyday work.

The Rosary Garden, Manaoag Pangasinan
After visiting Baguio, the next day we went to the famous Our Lady of Manaoag church Pangasinan, a 30 min drive from Calasiao, we visited the Rosary Garden, with images showing every mysteries from joyful, to sorrowful. ( what's the other mystery? darn!) after lighting a candle for personal wishes aside from world peace, said a prayer at the garden so lightning wont strike me down after entering this sacred place.
The City of Pines, Baguio City
Here is my favorite place to dwell during the summer, while everybody wants to go swimming, beaches like Boracay, Puerto Galera and others, I prefer to be in a colder climate, makes me cool, literally. I took the first photo from a waiting shed, check the residential places below, and the cab are cheap since they're not using the aircon, and the cabbie gives change, unlike the cabbies in Manila, those money greedy bastards. The third photo is the skyline, would you believe it's only 4pm in the afternoon? The Fog's comin boy!
Untitled Haiku
From a new flyover's view
I'm one of the first (actually the third) to climb up and use the new pink flyover at welcome rotonda, quezon avenue, Q.C. There was a time (not to long ago) to be able to cross to the other side of quezon ave rotonda to e. rodriguez you have to do "Patintero" with the rampaging vehicles because there is no pedestrian lane nor traffic enforcer to help you, good thing the city govt' decided to put one, though it's pink.

MY DAYDREAM
Under an old tree
I watch while wearing a rare
smile, which is often
since the day she came
Butterflies dances around her
As she sat on the greens
the wind mildly singing
enjoying a lazy afternoon
She smiles back whenever
our eyes meet, assuring
the smile on my face
wont be gone again
I hold her hand
As we stroll the park
humming nursery ryhmes
that lifts the spirit
I hold her in my arms
touching her long brown locks
As the sun sets, she whispers
'Dad, sing me to sleep'
